Your data goes through the admin API hosted on your servers, right into your end-user browser interface. It remains completely invisible to our servers, so it can never be accessed or stored by anyone other than you.
In order to ensure the highest level of security, the connections to both of your servers (the Admin Backend and the Forest Admin Servers) are protected using 2 different web tokens, signed by 2 different keys. The second key is chosen by you and will never be disclosed to anyone else.
Through your Admin Frontend, you have the option of disabling 3rd party providers that could track data available in your browser, guaranteeing total data privacy.
The IP whitelisting feature allows you to create a list of trusted IP addresses or IP ranges from which your users can both access to the Admin Frontend and interact with your Admin Backend API.
You're free to host your Admin Backend wherever you want to be compliant with your security infrastructures (DMZ, VPN, etc.).
